Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as a T-shirt or vest with shorts or leggings. We ask that you avoid any clothing or jewellery with long parts that could get caught in the equipment, as well as sharp jewellery or zips that could damage the upholstery.
For hygiene and safety during our group reformer classes, grip socks are required. You will not need trainers. As a courtesy to others, please wear clean clothes and avoid strong perfumes or lotions.
We have air conditioninig, but it's August, so please bring a water bottle and a towel. We do not have a changing area, so please arrive dressed and ready for your workout.
For online mat classes you will need a device with a camera that runs Zoom, and a mat. For better visibility of the screen we recommend a computer or tablet rather than a phone. We also recommend that you have a squishy Pilates ball, resistance band and a flat head cushion or towel that can be folded for support. Squishy balls and bands can be bought from the Ease Pilates office, or you can improvise with a scarf or cushion.

Senior Teacher, Studio Pilates Teacher
Vicki completed her Comprehensive training with Polestar Pilates and teaches on all equipment: Mat, Reformer, and Studio apparatus. Before joining Ease Pilates, Vicki worked primarily in clinical settings in New Zealand, helping clients with post-injury or chronic conditions further their rehabilitation journey. Her specialisms include posture improvement, head, neck, and shoulder issues, and increasing strength to alleviate back pain.
With a main background in dance and performance, Vicki discovered Pilates in her early 20s when faulty body patterns caused hip and lower back pain. Pilates has been crucial for her to maintain freedom of movement and stay pain-free, and she's passionate about helping her clients have the same experience. Vicki’s teaching approach is fun yet focused, creating a friendly class atmosphere with a joke or two!
